Descripción	Assistant Professor of Spanish (Non-Tenure Track) College of Arts & Sciences. The Department of Languages and Literatures at Ashland University seeks applications for the position of Assistant Professor of Spanish (Non-Tenure Track) beginning August 2021. This position reports directly to the Department Chair of Languages and Literatures.
Requisitos	Ph.D. in Spanish is required. Although this is a Generalist position, candidates with specializations in Spanish pedagogy, Spanish linguistics, or Latin American studies are encouraged to apply. Demonstrated abilities in effective classroom and on-line teaching and course development required. Appreciation for cultural diversity. Commitment to undergraduate education for both traditional and non-traditional students.
Responsabilidades	he successful candidate will demonstrate abilities in effective classroom and on-line teaching and course development. Standard teaching load is eight (8) courses per year, including sections of lower-level and intermediate-level Spanish language as well as upper-level courses in Spanish and Latin American civilization, culture, and literature. This position involves participation in the department’s online courses for Correctional Education, CCP (College Credit Plus), and study abroad.
