| Descripción | The School of Modern Languages wishes to appoint a Lecturer in Spanish (Teaching and Scholarship). This is a permanent post, offered at Lecturer (Grade F) level. The salary will be determined by the appointee’s ability to meet the requirements of the person specification and job description. |

| Salario | £30,942 to £32,817 with progression to £40,322 per annum. |
| Requisitos | We welcome applications from outstanding language teaching experts who are able to contribute to the development of learning and teaching within the School, taking account of developments within the discipline, changes in the market, and best practice in Learning and Teaching. You will have native or near-native fluency in Spanish and English, experience of teaching Spanish in a higher education context and an excellent knowledge of language-teaching pedagogy. Qualifications – You must hold a degree in a subject area relevant to the post. – A teaching qualification and/or a postgraduate qualification in a relevant field is essential. You must have the ability to deliver innovative teaching on our undergraduate programmes in Spanish and to contribute to the design and delivery of the School’s language curriculum. Relevant experience in teaching intensive-fast-track ab-initio courses that take students to Post-A Level standard in one year is essential for this post. Expertise in technology-enhanced learning would be welcome. |
